I’ve been interested in Dentistry since I was 17. I was drawn to Dentistry because you get to meet and help people. I also like working with my hands and Dentistry is definitely a profession that requires excellent manual dexterity.

I love the challenge of being a dentist. Every person is different and presents a unique approach either because of anatomical variation or personality variation. This means that no two treatment plans are ever the same so my mind is constantly working and challenged. In addition the challenge of working in the confines of the mouth requires you to be constantly at your best if the work is to be done to a high standard.

I enjoy working in a General practice which allows me to deliver the complete range of services that modern Dentistry has to offer. I believe there is no more exciting time to be practicing dentistry than now. The advances in technology means that we can provide patients with virtually anything they want cosmetically or to improve their health and function. I get a real kick out of being able to give people the smile that they’ve always wanted and seeing them smile when they see that wonderful new smile for the first time. It’s only recently with the developments in things like ceramics, lasers, whitening and implants in Dentistry that we have been able to really do smile makeovers that achieve these extraordinary and natural results.

I’ve always believed that if you are going to take on a job, then do it well and to the best of your ability. I believe this approach is essential in dentistry when you are dealing with the complexities of the human body. So I am extremely proud to have a team of professionals working with me at Vision Dental who are highly trained and committed to excellence.

Outside of Dentistry I enjoy keeping active with jogging, tennis and getting punished by my personal trainer. My 3 lovely children also ensure that my time at home is well utilized with keeping them happy and busy with their many activities.
